We ate here tonight and it was the best dining experience we’ve had in Brussels! Our waiter was so lovely, so friendly and it was a pleasure to meet him. Will definitely be returning. The set menu is a great deal, big portions and reasonably priced. Fantastic evening, thank you.
This restaurant offers a nice balance — centrally located, yet situated on a calmer street that opens onto a vibrant alley. We had the three-course lunch menu: the vegetable soup was flavorful, the beef stew had a rich, earthy taste, and the waffle was light, airy, and delicious. The fries that came with the beef stew were noticeably tastier than those you typically find at corner spots around the city. Our waiter was polite, attentive, and quick. Prices were fair and acceptable. Tip: Try to sit outside. The view of Place Sainte-Catherine, combined with the relaxed vibe of people enjoying the nearby park, creates a uniquely pleasant atmosphere.
We had dinner here one time during our stay in Brussels. We took the Daily menu for 23EUR. We had the fried calamari and soup with shrimps for starters. For the main course, we had the grilled sea bream and mussels with white wine and fries and for dessert, we had the chocolate mousse and Belgian wafles. Everything was delicious. Very reasonable price and the staff were very friendly. This is just steps away from St. Catherines Church. Highly recommended!
Best mussels I had in Brussels and wife pleased with her choice of fish. The lunch set menu was excellent value and the surroundings capped off an enjoyable lunch. The owner is an excellent host and made our visit one to remember.
We went there for a late lunch, since we just arrived Brussels. Around 3pm. Service was good and quick. We ordered their plates of the day. 3 course meal that you may choose from many options at Euro23 per person. My husband and tried shrimp soup, fried squid, mussels in wine sauce, grilled fish, chocolate mousse and Belgium waffle. Very fresh seafood and salad. Taste is excellent. Not too salty. Location is great. Right beside Saint Catherine church. Reasonable price, very fresh seafood. Will definitely return.
Really good food, we Tried many things like mussels, pasta with prawn, ribs etc, everything was yummy. Definitely recommend it!
A lovely fish restaurant close to St. Catherine's Church. We found this lovely restaurant and we all had the lunch menu which was 16 euros for 3 courses. The portions were a reasonable size and we were given excellent service by the staff who were kind, attentive and helpful. I had the mussels which were absolutely fantastic and had a lovely sauce with them. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are in this area.
The staff was attentive and the food was very good. The mussels were fresh and the beer was great. Would come back.
